Have you plateaued in your swim and are looking to improve? Did you take part in the TTC  Do you struggle with the swim component of the triathlon even though you have been swimming for a long time? Did you complete the Beginner Swim Series and are looking for more corrective feedback? If so, this 3 part clinic is for you!

Description: Over the course of the three 1hr sessions, participants will be exposed to stroke technique tips, mainly focused on improved propulsion/high elbow catch and how to continue to build fitness through progressive training. 

Why do it?: This clinic is a great opportunity for beginner triathletes or those who have been struggling to improve their swim. Each of the three sessions will build on the previous one and will have a focus on stroke technique and training, specific for triathletes. 

Details: The first session will focus primarily on body position and hand entry. The first 15 minutes will be dedicated to dryland training for improving shoulder mobility and strength for swimmers and an analysis of proper catch, pull and recovery, timing and how to achieve it. The in water session will start with a swim video of every swimmer. The remainder of the session will be in the water, with a variety of drills intended teach the correct stroke technique.  

The second session will build on the first session. The first 20 minutes will be a recap of the first session, including a mix of dryland and in water drills. The remaining time will focus on more drills to improve the propulsion of the stroke. 

The third session will build on the second session. The first 20 minutes will be a recap of previous session, including a mix of dryland of in water drills. The remaining time will focus on building fitness and getting ready for open water swimming, with the final 15 minutes spent capturing underwater video of each swimmer. 

A minimum of 3 participants are needed in order for this program to run. Spots are limited to 12 and each participant will receive a video of their stroke at the beginning and end of the 3 part clinic. 

Requirements: Bathing suit, goggles, swim cap, ability to complete 100m of swimming in less than 2min 30seconds
