Note from the Toronto Triathlon Club President

We are all watching as the impact of COVID-19 is felt across the world and here in Ontario.  My first thoughts are always about the safety of our members, our coaches and others working with you to achieve your triathlon dreams. 

What I wanted to reinforce first is:  we are a strong community, we love our sport and we all want to support each other during this unusual time. 

As a club:

  • Your safety is our top concern
  • We have cancelled all in-person activities until at least 30 April
  • We are looking at virtual avenues to help you with your training (would love your ideas)

I am going to continue training in a responsible way following the guidelines we are receiving; let's see who's doing what on Strava, and join our Facebook and Instagram pages and keep each other motivated!

We will keep you updated as things develop and change.  In the meantime, stay safe and look after each other.

    If you are concerned that you may have been exposed to, or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please contact Telehealth at (1-866-797-0000), your primary care provider, or your local public health unit.

    According to the World Health Organization:

    • Wash your hands frequently.
    • Keep your hands away from your face.
    • Maintain at least one-metre distance between you and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
    • Stay home if you're unwell.
    • Cough or sneeze into your sleeve
