TTC Indoor Track Run Workouts
Tuesdays at 7pm, starting Nov 12/13 to Mar 25/14

Cost: $270 - Price includes track pass for 18 Tuesdays (Nov 12- Mar 25, excluding Dec 24 & Dec 31) and coaching fees.
Minimum participants: 15
About The Workouts:
You swim indoors in a pool during the winter months.
You train indoors on a trainer during the winter months.

Come join your fellow TTC members once a week at the new indoor track at Monarch Park. Avoid performing your quality workouts on ice and snow-covered roads and minimize your risk of injury.
This 18-week program will give you the perfect head start for your running season and provide you with structured and challenging workouts, leading you to peak conditioning for race season.
Beginning with the establishment of a proper foundation, workouts will then progress by adding a layer of speed e.g. tempo and long intervals, followed by fast and short intervals. Mixed throughout the program will be repeated mile trials to help assess your performance gains. Whether you are a veteran versus a novice runner, or training for longer versus shorter events, workouts will be flexible enough to meet your individual needs.
About Jennifer Faraone:
Jennifer Faraone is a competitive runner and duathlete. She has numerous wins under her belt including world champion for her age category at the Worlds’ Duathlon Championship 2013 (9th female overall), Toronto Half Marathon, Ottawa Marathon, Houston 5k, and 5 Peaks Trail Running Championships.
Jennifer has been coaching for many years with Marathon Dynamics, has her NCCP level 1, and has been offering trail running clinics in the GTA.
She is also co-written a book titled The Pregnant Athlete Within which is targeted to hit bookstores in early 2014. You can see her on her blog www.runningthertrails.wordpress.com.

The track is 370.67 meters long and it is marked (and measured) for the following distances (60m, 100m, 150m, 200m, 400m, 600m, 800m, 1,000m, 1,500m, 1 mile, 2,000m, 3,000m, 5,000m, 10,000m).
