I am happy to accept the appointment from the Toronto Triathlon Club’s (the “TTC”) Board of Directors as the TTC’s Executive Director for 2014. I have been involved with the TTC for the past 5 years as both an active member and Board Director. I acted as Social Director and as Training Director for the past 2 years. During my Board tenure, I helped increase TTC membership, social events and training and clinic offerings. I’m excited to be a part of the club’s continued growth in 2014 as the TTC’s new Executive Director.
As Executive Director, my mandate will be in keeping with the mission of the TTC which is to “develop a community of multisport athletes from recreational to elite level with a common purpose to achieve personal athletic goals, and participate in organized group training session in a fun environment.”
I will be working with the Board of Directors to coordinate and execute all increased training related activities for the TTC. I will assume many of the day-to-day operational activities for the TTC. This will allow the Board of Directors to focus on the club’s strategic development moving forward.
