    Why strength?

Do you have chronic injuries that don't seem to go away despite treatment and a proper training program?
Do you feel like you have the potential to perform better than you do in your sport, yet just can't seem to reach that potential no matter how much swimming, cycling and running you are doing?

Strength Training may be your missing link!! Proper sport-specific strength training is very beneficial for endurance athletes, yet it's something many of us don't love to do, and may not know how to do properly, and therefore tend to leave out of our training plans.

Strength training does not have to involve lifting heavy weights - for endurance athletes strength training should be functional (sports specific movements involving many areas of your body at one time) and should be periodized throughout the training and racing season to ensure that it benefits your fitness and improves your performance rather than hurts your other workouts.

To learn more about how strength training can you as a Triathlete and how to implement it into your training program, join us for this seminar and workshop at Absolute endurance!
Join us for a 90 min workshop on Sunday Dec 1, 2013 Absolute Endurance- with Dr Cindy Lewis, Personal Trainer, Chiropractor, Pro Triathlete.

        Please RSVP online.
