    Nutrition is often referred to as the 4th discipline of triathlon, as it can make or break your race, especially in long distance training.  As such triathletes need to understand what to consume to fuel properly and dedicate time to this area of training.  This virtual seminar will cover why nutrition is important and what triathletes should eat and what they should avoid before, during and after training to optimize your performance on race day. 

    This clinic is presented by club nutritionist Tara Postnikoff and HEAL (Healthy Eating Active Living).  Tara is a Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner focusing in Sports Nutrition and is an NCCP- Certified Triathlon Coach and Personal Trainer.
