ALTITUDE ATHLETIC TRAINING


ALTITUDE ATHLETIC is opening a high altitude training facility in downtown Toronto. Our facility will have a 1000 sq ft altitude room that we can bring up to elevations anywhere from 4000 ft to over 12000 ft. You can check us out on our website or Instagram.  

Toronto Triathlon Club Members! ALTITUDE ATHLETIC is hosting a workshop on how you can use simulated altitude training (training in reduced oxygen levels) to improve your performance both at sea level and at elevation. We’ll cover:

  • Brief insight into the science behind altitude training and how it relates to the endurance athlete
  • Some of the key benefits for you as a triathlete, including: improved VO2Max, average and peak power output, local tissue economy and buffering, ventilation response and a longer time to exhaustion.
  • Ways you can implement altitude training into your program to prepare for your upcoming races at sea level or elevation

We’ll also be bringing our famous 8x8 Altitude Tent!!! So you can step into 9000 ft and breathe low altitude air right at the Regent Park Aquatic Centre!
