Fall Swim Clinic - Day 2: How to Structure your Swim Workout

Have you been swimming for awhile, but have reached a plateau? Do you want to learn how to swim train more effectively? Do you want to learn how to properly do interval training in the pool? If so, this clinic is for you. Learn how to improve your strength, speed and/or endurance with certain types of swim sets.

This clinic will begin with an introduction on how to train for technique, speed, muscular endurance, aerobic endurance and muscular strength in triathlon. It will then zero in on specific types of swim sets that target each of these. Swimmers will then get in the water for a short warm-up with a technique focus and then experiment with various types of swim sets.

Coach: Miranda

Time: 5:55 - 6:55am

Ability: Intermediate to Advanced (swimmers should be able to swim 400m without stopping)

Refunds will be given if we have to cancel the program due to not meeting minimum numbers. If the city/venue cancel a permit or if cancelled due to weather, we will try to reschedule, but no refunds. We will credit those who can't attend the rescheduled event.
