Fall Swim Clinic - Day 1: Introduction to Swim Training
Are you new to swimming and want to be more comfortable and confident swimming during public swim times or with a swim group? Do you want to learn proper swim etiquette? Do you want to learn the basics of how to swim train - including how to read swim workouts and how to use swim equipment? If so, sign up for Day 1 of our Introduction to Swim Training Clinic.
This clinic will begin with an introduction to how to correctly swim during lane swim times or at a group practice, how to read the pace clock, how to read a swim workout and what common swim acronyms are. Then the group will get in the pool and do a warm-up following these rules. Next, swimmers will learn about different equipment and how to use it for their training and then they will get to experiment with it in the pool.
Time: 6:30 - 7:45am
Ability: Beginner to Advanced (swimmers should be able to swim 100m without stopping)
Please arrive early to change.
Refunds will be given if we have to cancel the program due to not meeting minimum numbers. If the city/venue cancel a permit or if cancelled due to weather, we will try to reschedule, but no refunds. We will credit those who can't attend the rescheduled event.
