COLLINGWOOD 2019
Back for its 12th year! Friday, May 17th to Monday, May 20th
TTC Collingwood Spring Training Camp is 4 days and 3 Nights! Come climb the Blue Mountains and build some early season volume.
This camp is geared at those looking to increase strength on hills and go long (as all our rides are over 2 hours, some up to 5 hours). You need a road or tri bike. Hybrids are not allowed for this terrain.
*This camp is not recommended for beginner riders. If you have questions about the suitability, please email headcoach@torontotriathlonclub.org
You'll have the opportunity to do four (4), 2+ hour rides.
Group talks on Nutrition, Bike Safety, Racing Strategy, Motivation, and Transitions will be throughout the weekend. Swim workouts will be coached.
A support vehicle will be en route for our long rides on Saturday and Sunday to carry extra water and offer assistance where needed. If you are interested in driving the van or donating your vehicle for either Saturday or Sunday, let us know!
We are looking for ride leaders for 60k, 90k and 120k distances of various riding abilities. Please email headcoach@torontotriathlonclub.org or note your interest on the registration form.
Over the past two year we offered a catered meal plan from Men With Knives. We are currently working with them for a menu and pricing for this year. More info will be provided later.
What people are saying from previous years:
“When I signed up for the TTC camp, initially the draw was Collingwood. Who doesn’t want to train on those scenic country roads. But what I experienced surpassed my expectations. The accommodation and routes were fantastic, the camaraderie uplifting and I came away with a solid weekend of training under my belt and new friends. Great value.”
