    Feeling sad riding all on your own? Want a good boost to your fitness and some motivation during your ride? Join Kevin for a 70-minute bike workout.

    These rides are designed to improve the cyclist’s or triathlete’s power at lactate threshold. 

    Kevin will start the ride at 7am (join via the Zoom link provided). During the first 5 minutes you will do a self-selected warm-up while the main workout is explained. At 7:05am the main workout will start. Kevin will then lead everyone through the 70min workout. 

    Kevin will provide the link to the workout via TrainingPeaks. For those on Zwift or Trainer Road you can download the workout in advance. Have your own training program and want to do that instead? No problem. You can do your own workout and still ride with the group on Zoom. 

    *If you are using Zwift, follow Kevin McCormick (from Canada) so he can invite you to the meet-up. We will use the “Keep Everyone Together Option” so you will be riding with fellow TTCers regardless of power. The Meetup will start at 7:05am (you can’t be late!).

    Want a short lunch workout to support your training? Join Tara for a 30min strength session where she will go through a few exercises that will be target the core/glutes and strengthen the muscles you need to swim, bike, run. Great for improved muscular endurance and injury prevention. Don’t miss out on a great workout!

    For the workout it would be great if you had:

    • 1 chair or coffee table (knee height)
    • Small mini band (Circular)
    • Weighted object of 5-10lbs that you can safely lift above your head
    • Stability/fitness ball

    They aren't essential and I can provide modifications if you don't have the equipment.

    Dig Deep rides are designed to improve the cyclist’s or triathlete’s power at lactate threshold. Their studio offers cycling classes using the reigning standard for indoor training, the Wahoo Kick'r. Dig Deep is taking their classes virtual for the TTC!

    Dig Deep will provide the link to the workout via TrainingPeaks, then explain the workout at 6pm. The ride will start promptly at 6:15pm. For those on Zwift you can download the workout in advance, and then you can join the meet-up at 6:15pm (You can’t be late! So best to be ready to go at 6:05-6:10). Dig Deep will lead everyone through the 60min workout. Have your own training program and want to do that instead? No problem. You can do your own workout and still ride with the group. We will use the “Keep Everyone Together Option” so you will be riding with fellow TTCers regardless of power.

    Feeling stiff or have been told you have poor mobility/flexibility? Did some hard training over the weekend? Join Phaedra for a mobility session designed to loosen up those stiff joints!

    Coach: Phaedra Kennedy

    • Stretch mat or cushiony surface 

    • foam roller

    • a lacrosse ball

    • either a yoga strap or towel

    • broomstick or long dowel

    • a mini band

    • a light dumbbell (3 to 5 lbs) OR a can of soup or a bottle of water.
