HEAL provides sports nutrition education, triathlon coaching and personal training services aimed at the endurance athlete. Dig Deep Cycling & Fitness Center is a North Toronto studio offering indoor power-based cycling using Wahoo KICKRS, strength training and yoga. If you are a cyclist or triathlete looking to become stronger and push more power, Dig Deep is for you.
Our indoor cycling classes allow beginner and elite athletes train together on their own bikes while following instructor lead PerfPro Studio and SufferFest workouts. The dynamic and fun group environment stimulates motivation and improves your training experience.
All riders participate in the same workout, but at their own functional threshold power (FTP) zones. We have 8 Wahoo KICKRS connected to a computer that automatically adjusts resistance for each person based on their FTP. If you don’t know your FTP, we will help you determine a starting point. And, we conduct regular FTP tests to monitor improvements and ensure you are getting the most out of your workout. Our typical sessions are 60-90 minutes long and include time for warm-up, a specific intensity workout, and cool-down.

WattsUp Cycling is a cycling training program designed to take care of your riding fitness through the winter months. Developed in 2008 and refined annually since, the WattsUp program has serviced over 1,000 Toronto athletes. The program is founded on time-tested principles of training, progressive overload, and specificity. No bells and whistles, smoke or mirrors. The program delivers an adequate training stimulus, leaving you feeling appropriately-worked, but does not create undue chronic fatigue. The program runs November to March inclusive. The program is offered both online and at our two studios.
For athletes preferring to train at home, follow our program online, working out whenever suits your schedule. No special software required. Although for those interested, our program is also available on the TrainerRoad platform. Home-based training provides the ideal in terms of flexibility, time-efficiency, and cost. On the other hand, athletes looking for social interaction, friendly competitiveness, and coaching advice enjoy riding at one of our two studios - 4231 Dundas St W (Royal York & Dundas), and 109 Vanderhoof Ave (Leslie and Eglinton). WattsUp Cycling has long enjoyed a relationship with the TTC. Current and past board members serve as instructors at both of our studios.
