The Toronto Triathlon Club is a not-for- profit organization which seeks to bring together and develop a community of adult multisport athletes, from recreational to elite. Coaching excellence is at our core and through this the Club strives to:
- · Encourage athletic growth and performance
- · Provide group training and learning opportunities through participation in coached workouts, clinics and camps; and
- · Support, by bringing members together to socialize and connect with like- minded individuals.
Toronto Triathlon Club is looking for members to join its Board of Directors to support its mission.
Submissions will be reviewed, and a short-list of candidates will be invited for an interview.
TTC has a skills-based and diverse board of directors. Specifically, TTC is seeking candidates with experience in Marketing, Communication and IT Management.
Directors serve on a volunteer basis and are appointed for a 2-Year term which is renewable.
Commitment & Duties:
The Board of Directors meet once per month. In addition, Board members will be expected to participate and support at least one committee or club activity/event. Board members will provide oversight and direction to the Executive Director (ED), Administrative Assistant (AA) as well as consultants (Coaches) that are associated with the club. In addition, the Board will have accountabilities appropriate to the organization’s structure, which will include providing guidance/advice regarding areas such as: Membership, Finance, Marketing, Communications, IT, Sponsorship, Training, Strategy, and Governance.
