Summer Swimming
Summer is here, bringing warmer water for both outdoor training and for racing. Our Winter paid swim training program is winding down in a week, but we have two excellent options for practicing open-water swimming and sharpening your swim racing skills!
Open-water Swims
We're running a free Wednesday evening open-water swim workout down at Cherry Beach through July and August. This will be a chance to get comfortable in your wet-suit and practice swimming in water that isn't crystal clear with lane markings on the bottom. We'll swim as a group along the shore, with our own lifeguard. For liability reasons this program is only open to TTC Members.
Lake Ontario can be... cold... so we strongly recommend wearing a wet-suit. Free parking is available, and we'll meet at the lifeguard house at the foot of Cherry Street.
Watch our training calendar for details, but we'll be swimming between 6:00 - 7:00 PM.
Summer Pool Training
