CompuTrainer Rides at Absolute Endurance
Mar 16 6:30 pm
The Toronto Triathlon Club has negotiated a 15% discount on CompuTrainer rides at
Absolute Endurance Training and Therapy
, on either ten-ride packages or full-use monthly memberships.
You can "ride" any time that suits your personal schedule, but we are encouraging Members to come on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 PM for a 90 minute ride so we can have a chance to socialise as well as train.
You can book a session any time during Absolute Endurance's hours of operation, but there are some time slots in high demand so it will always be advisable to call ahead to reserve a space.
Give yourself at least 15 minutes to get your bike setup
on a CompuTrainer, and bring your preferred hydration!
Training with a power meter (measuring watts) has become the new standard for all serious cyclists and triathletes. It’s a more accurate gauge of your effort level while on the bike than is provided by a traditional heart rate monitor. Using a CompuTrainer allows you to train indoors on your own bike, with its personalized fit, and provides an excellent structured workout while giving you precise power feedback. Say goodbye to junk miles! Train along side, or compete against, your friends on popular triathlon and road cycling courses from around the world, or just ride at set power outputs. The CompuTrainer is your ultimate indoor bike training tool.
Absolute Endurance offers full shower and changing facilities, free parking and assistance in connecting your bike to the CompuTrainer system. Coach-led rides happen on a regular schedule and private rides, either following real-world terrain such as the Lake Placid Ironman USA bike course or using manually varied wattage settings, can be taken. Bike storage is also available.
Absolute Endurance is located at 115 Merton St., two blocks south of Yonge and Davisville.
