TTC in partnership with NRG will be offering two intro to drafting clinics on Sunday May 15th.  

10am-12pm- Intermediate Session

1pm- 3pm- Novice Session

Cost: 

$50 for TTC & NRG members

$60 for TO members

$70 for Non members

Why learn to draft?  Age Group drafting is coming to your local races and the ITU Sprint Distance World Championships.    Also, good bike handling skills are a must and will make you a better triathlete and help keep you safe on the road.  We will begin with a discussion of basic riding skills such as braking and cornering and spends some time practicing each skill.  We will then talk about key tips and etiquette to keep in mind in a group. We will practice riding in a group, single file, double file, cornering in a group.  Finally we will talk about and practice single and double pacelines.  We will practice a little bumping as well.

*note this is NOT a draft card certification course. You must be over 18 years.

Pre-Requisites  

Intermediate- some experience riding in a group, pace lining, people in close proximity.  

Min 6 people, Max 12 per session.
